Happy 2nd day after Christmas!

I hope you all had a relaxing and wonderful Christmas day!!! We had a busy Christmas eve around here - and Christmas day was pretty laid back. I did some scrapbooking, tried to do some organizing in my scraproom. Today we took a few returns back and went to the lss to buy some scrapping stuff with the gift certificate from Julia for Christmas!! I still have money left on it and my punch card is full - so that means another $10.00 in product for me!!! I am waiting to hear if I made the design team for a lss called Picture This - should be finding out anyday now. I am having alot of fun over at Sassy Scrappers as one of the design team members. I hosted my first every crop/chat last weekend - It was a blast!!! I sent out RAK's to 5 of my new scrapbook friends over at Sassy Scrappers!!! I made a few layouts last night and will post them later - one of them is from my kit that I received for December 2008 from ScrapMuse - thanks again, ScrapMuse!!!! I still have alot of product left to play with!!! Don't you all love the smell of scrapbook paper and supplies? Yummy!!! Well, I am going to go up into my little piece of heaven (my scraproom) and do my thing!!! later, michelle

The night before surgery....

and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse ---- not a bit nervous!!! - Get 'r done!!! For those of you who don't know, I am having a hysterectomy tomorrow- yeah - no more "problems" - yeah for me -

On another note, I am having a blast, I mean a blast with being on the design team at Sassy Scrappers - if you haven't checked them out - check them out!!! We have alot of fun things going on - from challenges, to chat and crop weekends - a great group of gals and I just love them!!!!

And, I would like to thank my wonderful husband, Rod - he "rocks"!!!!!!! He is very supportive of me and my hobby!!!!! Take care all and have a safe day/night!!!

GUESS WHAT??????

I made a DESIGN TEAM!!!!! Yeah, how cool is that? I am proud to announce that I am on the Sassy Scrappers Design Team!!!!! Did I say how cool that was? It really is!!!!!!! Snow!!!

Well, just a little bit - and it stayed overnight!!! We probably got like 1/17th on an inch or so, but it's still snow!!!! Looking forward to the white stuff, just not looking forward to the cold and icy roads!!! OMG!!! Did I have a blast at my very first weekend getaway scrapbook retreat!!!! Simply to die for!!! Went with a good friend Kim and met her best buddy - Kelly!! OMG - I feel like I have known her forever!!!! It was a great time, good food, and got some things accomplished!!! Will I go again, you bet!!!! I am actually going to a "scrapbook" all day event at my friend Karen's this Sunday!!! whoohoooooo!!!!! later, m

Coming in 1st and 2nd!!

Well, I hope everyone had a great, safe and fun Halloween!!! We sure did!!! Rod and I dressed up as Glinda - the good witch and the scarecrow - Mike and Brenda were Dorothy and the Tin Man and Arlin and Jessical were the Wicked Witch and the Lion!!! We looked so incredibly awesome and real!!! We won 1st prize at a local bar for our costumes - $100!!!!! We are all saving it for next summer when we are up in Chetek some weekend!!! And, I found out I won 2nd place for this awesome layout (of course!!!) that I submitted to one of our local scrapbook stores - Down Memory Lane - a very fine scrapbooking place, I must say!!!! So excited, as this was the second scrapbooking contest I have one in the past month, oh, and I won a scrapbook challenge for the month of September on AC Bailey Designs website!!!! Yeah, another fine scrapbooking place!!!!

Hello!

Well we bought some paint today and we are going to paint to our heart's content!! We will be painting Kristine's bedroom and make it a guest room and a nice place for her to stay when she is home to visit from college. I did some scrapping today, IMAGINE THAT!!! - I will post pictures later - We are going to Mike and Brenda's tomorrow to finalize all of our Halloween costumes - it will be a suprise to you all as what we are going as!!!! later - m

I have been a little busy with scrappin, huh? I could seriously scrap from 9-5pm every day - It is something that I look forward doing - hard to explain, but I just love to get creative and design/create pages for my family to enjoy for years to come -

Hello People!!!!

I should be giving out my "blog" information to you people!!! I have been busy, Imagine That ;) -Between looking at new campers, hanging out with Rod and Julia and getting back my strength and getting my body back to where it was, I have been able to get a few scrapbook pages completed - yeah!!!! I will post them later tonight - we have a camper to go and buy tonight ;) - I will post pictures of our new "home away from home" later as well.
